About Lean In Canada
Lean In Canada is a community of professional women empowering each other to build purposeful and fulfilling careers. Since 2013, we have grown from an audience of 20 people to over 6000 members across the country in various professions. We built our organization for people just like us: professional women who are passionate about driving their careers forward to the next level and beyond, and who want to achieve greater success not only in work, but in life as a whole. We want a world where people of every gender can pursue their dreams without bias or other barriers holding them back. Where girls grow up to be confident, resilient leaders. Where more women run companies and countries. We are driven by the belief our society and economy would be better if women and girls were valued as equal to men and boys.

Low Entropy Foundation
Co-Founder, YEY Program
Lev Karasin
Lev Karasin is a serial entrepreneur, risk taker, thrill seeker, and a man on a mission. As co-founders of the YEY movement, Matthew and I have been on a mission to empower the next generation of leaders. With a passion for making a positive impact, we designed and launched the program under the Low Entropy banner. Our goal was to create a platform where young people could share their voices and develop their leadership skills.

Through hands-on, peer-to-peer learning experiences, we've seen our youth participants tap into their potential and grow into confident leaders. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, we pivoted to a hybrid online/offline approach, expanding our reach and positively impacting over 1000 young people in six countries around the world. These exceptional young leaders have even taken the stage at TEDx events and other prominent platforms to share their messages and inspire others About YEY Program Youth Empowering Youth (YEY) is a developmental movement led by teens for teens to nurture, support, and strengthen young leaders. YEY isn’t just a program—it’s an active movement of young community leaders banding together to grow, learn, and empower one another to make a difference in their community. This is a safe, positive place where teens can explore their talents while equipping themselves with the life skills they need to reach their goals. About Low Entropy Foundation Entropy is the measurement of disorder. A chaotic and disorderly state can be said to have high entropy, whereas an efficient, harmonious state—a state of stability, order, and balance—is considered as a low entropy state. This is why we’ve taken up a mission as the Low Entropy Foundation. We strive to reduce the entropy in our social system to nurture a more loving, respectful humanity—a caring, global family that supports and cares for one another.
